SCE signe un protocole d’entente avec l’Autorité des Contrôles Alimentaires d’Abu Dhabi pour coopérer dans la sécurité alimentaire et contrôles
Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) to share Singapore’s experience in Food Safety and Control.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Alphonsus Chia, Chief Executive Officer of SCE and Mr. Rashid Mohammed Khalfan Al Shariqi, Director General of ADFCA. The MOU will provide a framework for G-to-G collaboration in areas pertaining to food safety and control. SCE will work closely with Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and expertise in areas like:
1) Food Safety Training and Attachment Programmes;
2) Food Safety and Inspection Systems for both imported and domestic food;
3) Food Safety Policies & Legislation Development and Regulatory affairs;
4) Food Safety Laboratory Methodologies and Management Systems.
This MOU will enhance existing bilateral relationships between the governments of Singapore and Abu Dhabi. There will be regular exchanges of information and technical cooperation between SCE, AVA and ADFCA on projects in the field of Food Safety and Control.
