Singapore Cooperation Enterprise sa signé un Mémorandum d’entente avec la République du Niger pour partager le savoir faire de Singapour dans le service publique
Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) today announced the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Economic Planning, Land Management and Community Development of the Republic of Niger to provide a high-level framework for public and private sector collaboration between Singapore and Niger.
The signing of the MOU took place in Singapore during the Niger Singapore Business Forum 2014 organised by the Singapore Business Federation at Pan Pacific Hotel. The MOU was signed by Mr. Kong Wy Mun, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) and Mr. Amadou Boubacar Cissé, Senior Minister of Economic Planning, Land Management and Community Development, Republic of Niger. The signing coincided with the State Visit of H.E Issoufou Mahamadou, President of the Republic of Niger to Singapore.
Under the MOU, SCE will work with the relevant Singapore government agencies and private sector companies to collaborate with the Republic of Niger in the initial areas of master planning, infrastructure and transport development, capacity building and in the area of ICT.
Speaking at the signing ceremony today, Mr. Kong Wy Mun said,
« SCE is happy to forge this new partnership with the Government of Niger, representing its 10th country in Africa it has engaged with to share Singapore’s development experience. We are excited to embark on this collaboration with the Republic of Niger and hope that it will pave the way for stronger ties and project opportunities between our countries. »
