Singapore Cooperation Enterprise signe un protocole d’entente avec la République du Togo pour partager l’expertise de Singapour dans le service publique
Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) today announced the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Republic of Togo to provide a high-level framework for public sector collaboration between Singapore and Togo.
The signing of the MOU took place this morning in conjunction with the launch of the Africa Singapore Business Forum, organised by IE Singapore and Singapore Business Federation. The MOU was signed between Mr. Alphonsus Chia, Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) and Mrs. Dédé Ahoéfa Ekoue, Minister, on behalf of the Ministry reporting to the President of Republic, in charge of Planning, Development, Town and Country Planning (Republic of Togo). It was witnessed by Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, Singapore Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Mr. Ninsao Gnofam, Minister of Transport from the Republic of Togo.
SCE began our engagement with the Government of Togo since the beginning of the year and the Government of Togo has expressed their intention to tap on Singapore’s expertise to help in its effort to enhance the development of its infrastructure.
Under the MOU, SCE will work with the relevant Singapore public agencies and private sector companies to collaborate with Government of Togo in the following areas:
(1) Development of an industrial zone;
(2) Development of transport infrastructures: ports, airport, railways and road; and
(3) Collaboration in educational and professional training system and infrastructure
Speaking at the signing ceremony today, Mr. Alphonsus Chia said,
« We hope that, through this collaboration, both sides will get to understand each other better and work closely to create business and other opportunities for public and private sector players from both countries. »
