Singapour et Inde signe un partenariat pour la gestions d’Eaux et Eaux Usées et Industriels pour L’Etat de Maharashtra

Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) announced today that they have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Aurangabad Industrial Township Limited (AITL) for Singapore to provide advisory and programme management expertise in the areas of water management and industrial water recycle and reuse for the State of Maharashtra.

With the growth of industrialization, the State of Maharashtra has seen a corresponding rise in demand for water. AITL thus strives towards implementing innovative, sustainable and equitable solutions to meet industries’ expectations and needs. It is with this objective in mind that AITL is keen to draw on Singapore’s experience and to adopt relevant best practices in water management and industrial water recycle and reuse.

The MoU was signed at the ‘Make in India’ week held in Mumbai from 13 – 18 February 2016. The signatories for the MoU were Mr. Vikram Kumar, Joint Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation & Managing Director of Aurangabad Industrial Township Limited; and Mr. Kong Wy Mun, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Cooperation Enterprise. The exchange of MoU was witnessed by the Honourable Chief Minister of the State of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis.

Under the framework of the MoU, Singapore will offer its experience and expertise towards the implementation of water recycling plants within the Shendra-Bidkin Industrial Area in Aurangabad, where SCE will work with both the Singapore public and private sectors to deliver the projects.
