Guanajuato Economic Development | Guanajuato Logistics & Supply Chain

In 2019, SCE worked with Guanajuato, a state of significant economic and geographical importance in Mexico and a key member of the Bajio alliance, to complete a 6-year Economic Development Strategic Plan. This project, in partnership with the Guanajuato Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), covered economic development, digital government, and urban master planning.

In the same year, SCE embarked on its second initiative with Guanajuato, focusing on enhancing the State’s Strategic Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation (PME) System. Leveraging Singapore’s experience, SCE reviewed and improved the PME framework and supported its implementation. Additionally, SCE conducted a logistics study commissioned by SDES, aimed at establishing Guanajuato as a premier logistics and supply chain hub, capitalising on its strategic location and economic activity in the Bajio region.
