Digitalisation | Economic Development | Pension Sector Reform | Arusha and Mwanza Urban Development

Since 2013, Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) has collaborated with both the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar to share Singapore’s expertise in public sector governance, focusing on urban development, pension reforms, and economic growth in sectors like ICT and tourism.

Key projects include the development of an ICT Master Plan for Zanzibar in 2013, serving as a blueprint for e-government services; an Economic Positioning Study in 2015 to assess key economic sectors; advisory services on Investment Framework and Strategy for the Zanzibar Social Security Fund (ZSSF) in 2018; and urban master planning for Arusha and Mwanza in 2015, in partnership with Surbana Jurong.
