Singapore agencies to provide consultancy, knowledge transfer, training, social services, general business development and other government-related services

1. Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) and the Department of Civil Service of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (DCS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today for the Singapore Government to provide public sector expertise and other related services to DCS through SCE.

2. SCE, as the primary vehicle established by Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will partner public sector agencies to share their expertise with DCS and other Abu Dhabi government agencies.

3. The DCS looks forward to working closely together to explore areas of collaboration in the professional development of public officers through various platforms. Together with its partners, such as Civil Service College, SCE will also collaborate with DCS to share Singapore’s experiences and expertise in public sector human resource management and human resource development.

4. The agreement was signed by Mr Peter Ho, Chairman, SCE, and Mr Rashed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman, DCS, in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi – Singapore Business Forum (ADSBF) held at Raffles Hotel. His Excellency Khaldoun Al Mubarak, CEO of Mubadala Holdings, and His Excellency Lee Yi Shyan, Minister of State for Trade & Industry, co-chairmen of the ADSBF, were also present at the signing ceremony.
